Dragons is a community based club that is committed to nurturing a fundamental appreciation and enduring passion for the game of rugby football amongst young players. We train on Saturdays at UWCSEA East Campus in Tampines (1 Tampines Street 73, Singapore 528704) and accept players from all schools.
We are a "not for profit" club run by volunteers and encourage active participation and involvement of players and their families and friends in day to day club activities through playing, coaching, refereeing, managing and of course as team supporters and spectators!
Our values and principles are as follows:
•All players of eligible age are accepted regardless of playing standard.
•We Play for fun, enjoyment and friendship and to develop an appreciation of team sport.
•We work to improve skills, fitness and motivation and to develop leadership and sportsmanship.
•We expect our players to accept winning and losing in an equally gracious and sporting manner.
The competition rules are adjusted for age. For details click on the "Junior Rugby Laws" link within the "About Our Club" section.
Mouth guards are compulsory for all training sessions and for all matches. Players will play in the age group that matches the age they are on 1 January.
Throughout the season all age group teams will train together for at least the first part of each training session. The latter part may be used for inter team practice games. We sincerely hope that players are able to commit to playing matches and are willing to tour on occasion to play other regional teams.
